  • Dan D. Combs, President

    As a part of the family-owned business, Dan Combs has been involved since the 1970s. After graduating with a degree in economics, Dan began his fieldwork as a rigger and as an estimator. Since taking over the responsibilities of president, Dan has focused on growing a successful family business by hiring the best professionals in the industry, using top-of-line equipment and servicing a wider range of customer needs.

  • Bob Williams, Vice President

    Coming from Denver Bob brings stamping press expertise with many years of experience. Raised in the industry and coming from a family owned and run business Bob knows what it takes to make things happen and how to place the proper man-power and tools on the job to get it done. If you need press installation, repair and any heavy rigging support Bob is your expert.

  • Melissa Thompson, Project Cost Manager

    Being raised in the industry so specific as the services D&D Machinery performs Melissa keeps the ship tight on documentation of what is going on and the cost impact of what is happening. Melissa a University of Kentucky graduate who brings the know how and pride of getting the job reporting and keeping our staff up-to-date.

  • Megan Combs, Office Manager

    Directing the office with the variety of things happening at D&D is a skill that is handled daily by Megan. Part of the family Megan came to D&D Machinery after graduating from Center College and hearing the rigging lingo for years she keeps everyone on the paper work detail and confirmation track. For the office mechanics Megan is your contact.

  • Ronnie Mills, Project Manager Lexington

    A second-generation Ironworker Ronnie began his career in 1990. With years of experience in the field, Ronnie has a wide range of expertise in rigging. Spending most of his career moving machinery he also worked as a Project Foreman setting precast and structural steel. Having worked with cranes, helicopters, gantry’s and forklifts. For all your rigging needs, small and large give Ronnie a call.

  • Luke Bovenzi, Project Engineer Site Manager Texas

    With a BS in Mechanical Engineering (Texas Tech) and a MBA from Loyola University, Luke is our go to guy for details to confirm the science of what we do. Working in the fabrication field, meeting the standards of the military contractors and travels through out our nation, Luke brings the technical and specific details to our installation and rigging aspects. Luke is a Texas native and knows what it takes to make things happen and has the experience and background to confirm it.

  • Chris Laszlo, Project Manager Indiana/Illinois

    With a BS in Engineering (Purdue Calumet), Chris has been in the automotive sector for over 30 years and has experience across all manufacturing shops. Having worked for major OEMS (GM, Ford and Toyota) as well as equipment suppliers, he has a unique perspective on how to plan and implement complex equipment installation projects with tight timelines. If you need a turnkey project done from planning, logistics and installation to final power on Chris just might be the guy you need to talk to.

  • Blake Pownell, Project Manager Indiana/Alabama

    With a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology (Purdue), Blake has been in the automotive industry for 7 years with focusing on stamping, plastics, paint, and body weld processes. Having worked at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Blake has learned to successfully plan, execute, and close many large and small scale projects. If you are looking to successfully complete your project, Blake will meet and exceed all expectations.

  • Derek Jones, Project Manager

    With 25 plus years in construction, specifically in the industrial mechanical environment. Derek became a professional Millwright 15 years ago specializing in welding processes and precision leveling and alignment. Derek has a sense for organizing and understanding what needs to be done to meet those unique specifications. Coming from southern Kentucky but expanding his experience throughout the USA and Mexico. His experience in estimating and project management will meet the demands of your project.

  • Bryan Murphy, Dispatcher

    A second-generation Millwright being raised in the industry with nearly 40 years of experience. Bryan has worked from coast to coast in every field of the industrial manufacturing sector. Bryan handles our field labor dispatching and job equipment distribution. He researches what is the safest and most efficient equipment required for the job. Keeping up with equipment from coast to coast but also traveling overseas for us to understand what is needed for D&D to be the best of the best in the industry.
